Delivery Times
Act of Sod does NOT guarantee delivery times. Our delivery times usually range anywhere
from 6:30 am - 1:00 pm. A representative will call the afternoon before delivery
with a 2 hour window. These windows are “best estimate” scenarios and are subject
to unforeseen delays such as traffic, delivery vehicle malfunction, problem(s) with
prior deliveries that day, and acts of God.
Refunds
All sod is sold on an as-is basis. Once an order has been harvested for delivery,
there are no refunds due to the perishable nature of the product. Orders cancelled
within the allowed time frame will receive an immediate refund via the original payment
method.
Cancellation/Postponement
To cancel or postpone an order, the customer must notify us by telephone* no later
than 10:00 am the day before the scheduled delivery. In the event of a postponement
(of customer’s choosing), the option will be given to either reschedule delivery
or cancel it altogether, in which case the credit card will be refunded.
*Order cancellation/postponement must be confirmed by an Act of Sod representative.
We do not guarantee cancellation/postponement if customer notification left only
via voicemail.
Warranty
There is no warranty on our product(s), express or implied.
Limitation of Liability Statement
Act of Sod bears no responsibility for installation, labor standby time pending delivery,
or damage to the product after delivery. Act of Sod will attempt to place material
where designated at delivery site but assumes no responsibility for damage of any
nature inside curb or property line.
